Later this month, we will be walking from the Crown Oil Arena to Boundary Park ahead of the Oldham v Rochdale game on 29th January leaving the Crown Oil Arena at 10-15. This will be the fourth time we have undertaken such a walk ahead of this fixture.
In an act of solidarity with the supporters of Oldham Athletic and their ownership, we are inviting Oldham supporters to walk with us as well.
In terms of fundraising, two suggestions have been made to us – Rochdale Connections Trust and the Rochdale Foodbank. A sponsor form can be downloaded here, and if you would, we can provide a way of collecting money online. We are more than happy should any Oldham supporters wish to fundraise separately.
However. there is absolutely no obligation to fundraise, so if you’d just be happy to walk from a social point of view, then please do so.
We will be having a couple of refreshment stops along the way, with full details to be provided nearer the time.
