Dale’s on loan right back Corey O’Keeffe has been voted as the first Player of the Month of the 2021-22 season and was handed his award after the 1-0 win over Tranmere.
It’s been a great start to his time at Dale and his performances have been pivotal in Dale’s impressive start to the season.
There were 407 votes in total, with O’Keeffe picking up 235 of them. The voting was:
- Cory O’Keeffe – 57.7%
- Alex Newby – 14.5%
- Abraham Odoh – 9.8%
He received his award from Dale Trust member Steven Coleman and his son. Each month, one Trust member is picked randomly from the votes and they get to present the award to the winning player, and they receive that player’s signed shirt for their troubles.
