The Trust will be hosting the first of their three matchball sponsorships later this month when Blackpool come to town and our guest for the day will be Peter Ward.
Ward had two seasons at Dale between 1989 and 1991 and was part of the team that reached the 5th Round of the FA Cup for the first time in our history. He is fondly remembered by Dale supporters for his time with the club and has kindly offered to do a Q&A before the game.
His return continues the tradition from the past couple of seasons of inviting former Dale greats back to be our guest for the games where we’ve had matchball sponsorship. The past couple of seasons has seen the likes of David Cross, Steve Whitehall and Steve Taylor amongst our guests.
A draw will take place the week before to see which Trust members will be joining Peter as part of the matchday sponsorship. if you would like to be part of that draw
