Help raise funds for sponsored walk

A Rochdale supporter is doing a five day walk visiting football grounds in memory of his nephew Josh McCormack.

Jonathan Duncalf’s walk culminates with a walk from Spotland to Valley Parade before this weekend’s game with the Bantams.

In October 2015 my Nephew Joshua McCormack was diagnosed with a PNET tumour on his brain stem. He underwent 6 months aggressive radiotherapy and chemotherapy in an attempt to prolong his life. Sadly in September 2016, his tumour started to grow again and no further treatment could be given. He passed away in January 2017. During this time my family was helped through this journey by Ronald McDonald House and Derian House. Both provide vital care and support to families in difficult circumstances. With that in mind, and in Joshuas memory I am raising funds for both these charities. I’m embarking on a 5 day walk to all Football Grounds of Greater Manchester in the top 10 levels of the Football League Pyramid then from Rochdale to Bradford. The total length of the walk is just under 130 miles.
