Her Game Too Rochdale is expanding, and we’re seeking new advocates to join our team.
We know the campaign has lost a bit of momentum over the past couple of seasons, but that’s about to change. This year is a fresh start. We’re building something more substantial, more visible, and more involved than ever before, and we want you to be a part of it.
We’re looking for people who love football, care about equality and inclusion, and want to help create a welcoming environment at Dale.
What’s the role about?
As a Her Game Too Advocate, you’ll be part of a volunteer-led group working to support female fans, tackle sexism, promote mental health awareness, and contribute to a more inclusive matchday experience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Promoting the campaign: Help raise awareness about Her Game Too and the work we’re doing at Rochdale AFC, both online and in person.
- Dedicated fixture support: Help us plan and deliver our annual Her Game Too matchday, from pre-match planning to on-the-day coordination.
- Be a stand rep: Act as a friendly, approachable point of contact in your stand during home games and be a visible face fans can turn to if they need support or just a chat.
- Event involvement: Support and take part in fan-focused events and community outreach as we’ve got some exciting ideas in the pipeline.
- Monthly team meetings: Join a monthly Teams call where we catch up, share ideas, raise concerns, and plan ahead together.
- Trust Desk rota: Take turns helping out at the Dale Trust desk before selected games, offering info, guidance, or just a welcoming presence.
What we’re looking for:
Whether you’ve supported the club for years or are new to the Crown Oil Arena, there’s a place for you in the team.
