The recent post by the club, and shared on probably every social site, features the appointment of Laura Thomas, who will step into the shoes of our departing Managing Director, Andy Duff, as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Andy Stepping down after making such a huge impact on the whole club, moving us forward and creating stability will be a major loss but the news that Laura has been appointed and given her impressive CV shows a creative appointment by the ownership team demonstrating the commitment to keep moving the “Ogden Project” into its next phase.
The Trust and its officers over recent years have forged an excellent productive and rewarding relationship with Andy and his team and we look forward to working with Laura in interpreting her vision for the next part of Rochdale’s growth, exciting times ahead both on and off the field.
We wish Andy all the very best when he eventually steps back and wish him well in his next venture, wherever that may be, though probably after Julie has got him decorating and catching up with a few home projects!. Thanks Andy, its been a blast.
