We have been donated 11 Grey Dale away shirts with Joey T’s name across the back (see photos) to auction and use to raise money for the Joey T “Go Fund Me” page appeal. Each was worn by one of the starting 11 during warm up and pre match prep at our home game against Dorking on the 13th April 2024.
We want to thank the club on behalf of all trust members and fans alike for the gesture, we know from comments given to our Trust reps on Saturday that there will be much interest in them
They are unique, a limited edition, very special with great appeal.
The rules are simple, given the season coming to a close and with a sense of urgency the top 10 bids which we receive will get a shirt. If we get similar bids which would mean more than 11 shirts are needed, we will take the bids which came in first, our software records the time and date which a bid is placed, so you may wish to get your bid in quick!
This really is first past the post wins
We will update all on a regular basis during the process as to how many bids we have received to date, we will not update on actual bid amounts and we will not respond to any bids sent by email.
Though we wish to make as much as we can for the Joey T fund, we do ask you to think carefully about the amount you want to bid, we do not want any one bidding a figure which could put them or their household under a burden.
FINAL NOTE. Though we have several shirts of differing sizes we are NOT offering them for auction by size, but as standalone unique limited offer of one shirt.
To give the Trust time to publicise this as widely as possible to all of the fan base both here and abroad, the bidding process will not start until tomorrow, Tuesday 16th 2024 at 3pm
We will publish a link to vote in a post on the Trust web site and also face book which will go live at 3pm tomorrow
Follow the link, fill out your name, email address (if you have one) Telephone contact Number and then in the space provided put your maximum figure you want to offer, then click proceed!
Bidding will be open until Thursday Morning 10am. We will contact those successful either by phone or email during Thursday to arrange payment and dispatch of their item. Where postage is required we will advise each fan accordingly of any additional expense incurred.
