Update to members

We have rearranged our meeting with the Club and received answers to the questions that were given by members.

We will be meeting with the Club on Thursday 23rd November. The meeting should have taken place originally on 26th October. We will be following up on the questions where applicable and will produce a full write up from the meeting and publish in on our website soon after.

Have supporters been prevented from purchasing the unsold shares in the club and if so why? Has the minimum amount changed?

There have been very few (single figures) of recent enquiries for share purchases from supporters. The minimum amount has not changed. However, when in advanced talks with potential investors, a shareholder base and an ‘available shares’ number that is constantly moving is extremely problematic and has already been the most significant factor in seeing off several parties interested in club investment. The focus of the club is on securing investment rather than minor transactions at the present time. It was suggested by club staff that supporters who were desperate to become shareholders could consider broaching the subject with The Dale Trust for a private transaction.

Are the Directors looking to sell their shares in the Club?

Individual Directors would need to answer this personally.

Does the requirements of the Club published on the Official Website in May 2023 still stand?

We are unsure as to what this question refers. I thought it might be this, but it is from April 2023? –

Could the loan from S.Gauge / R.Knight be sold to any potential new owners to give them control of the ground?

No, as the loan has not been taken.

Has that loan been acted on yet?

No, as The National League did not grant permission for it to be taken on a secured basis (despite other clubs within The National League entering into secured loans as recently as September 2023).

Is the loan limited to £350,000?

N/A due to the above.

Were MRKT the only analysis company that the Club discussed terms with?

No, discussions have been had with several, including but not limited to Player Lens, Twenty First Club, SciSports, Stats Perform, etc.

What investigations into a dark kitchen have there been, and have they sought advice from a consultant?

There are no funds whatsoever available for this at the present time, and as such, time has not been spend moving the project forward as yet due to financial constraints.

Is there a financial bearing on substitutions – by that, does the manager have to consider the cost of an appearance bonus

Absolutely not.
