Trust launches Ground Guide for away fans

For many years, visiting Rochdale was something of a habit for away supporters, mainly due to the number of times that they had frequented the town. But we know that this next season is going to be a bit different with many of the sides visiting for either the first time or for the first time in years. So in doing so, we want to make that vist as easy as possible.

The inspiration has been Doncaster Rovers who for many years will visit the Dale Forum and facebook groups and generally just go that extra mile to encourage Dale fans to visit their ground, and we have for many years been keen to replicate that. So now we have.

It is our intention to launch this in a couple of days as a trial run with Bradford fans in preparation for the home game with Ebbsfleet next week.

Throughout the guide, we have links to a survey. The idea is that we will add the comments to each section so away supporters aren’t just taking our word for it, but have the views of other away fans to back it up to give it a Trip Advisor feel to it.

There’s still some bits need adding that we will work on before Ebbsfleet. The Eating at the Ground image will be updated following this weekend’s game, and we have a few sections that are “to be updated”. We’ll get it finished before next week’s game.

So in the meantime, we need your help. I’m sure we’ve got some errors in there, overcomplicated matters or some glaring omissions, so if we have, please let us know. We want this to be a simple guide packed with everything anyone could possibly want to know.
