The Trust’s draw among its junior members for a Dale shirt with their favourite players name on has been won by a very happy Bobby Boothman. Bobby had told us his favourite player was Corry Okeeffe, so we were happy to oblige and his choice of an away kit shirt was suitably printed for him with the O’Keeffe name on it
On a day which saw excitement on the field with Dales great fight back from being 3.1 down to secure the draw against Harrogate, for Bobby the excitement was to continue in the 1907 lounge at the post match presentations, where he was presented with his shirt by a rather special player!
His big smiles after the presentation being testimony to the day he had enjoyed and in truth the relief that the rest of us had after a great fight back by the Dale.
The Trust has a monthly draw (During the playing seasons months) for its junior members, the winner getting a football shirt with their favourite players name on.
To ensure that all junior members are eligible we do ask that a contact name and telephone number along with their DOB is added to the trust renewal form each year. I bet Bobby is happy that mum Sarah made sure we had his details, although it was debatable who was the most excited, Bobby when he got his shirt or his mum when we told her that he had won!
Once again, congratulations Bobby, we look forward to seeing you with your mum and dad at the COA very soon.
