Christmas is coming and we want to save you the hassle of the queues, the cold, the traffic jams, the overpriced Xmas markets and other people, by doing your Xmas shopping online and raising funds the Trust in the process.
We’ve long banged the drum for Easyfundraising and rightly so given that since the start of our partnership with them, over £3,500 has been raised for the Trust through Easyfundraising.
If you’ve never used it before, it’s incredibly simple. You register with Easyfundraising with DaleTrust as your registered cause, and then you use their site as a starting point before starting your shopping. Over 4,000 companies and sites are linked with them, many of which are household names, and each purchase made will see a kickback to the Trust from the retailer, and most importantly of all, it will not cost you a penny more.
Our current total stands at £3,687 with 222 Dale fans registered.However, the reality is that the vast majority has been raised by just a handful of Dale supporters which shows just what can be achieved. Newport County – a club with a smaller average attendance than ourselves – have raised over £20,000 which shows just what can be raised.
