Community Trust news

Welcome for tonight’s match against our opponents from Lincolnshire, hope they have made the short trip in good heart but return go home empty handed on your visit to the Crown Oil Arena.

YOU Vs TRAIN

During the schools summer holidays we invited Jim McNulty to meet the older kids at the soccer school at the Soccer Factory to inform them of the dangers of the railway running alongside the facility plus safety in general.

It was a fascinating experience with good input from the kids showing good knowledge of safety round the tracks and awareness of the result of vandalism.

BIRCH COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DAY

Rochdale AFC Community Sports Trust had a great time at the Birch Community Engagement Day held at Wardle Academy recently mixing with all community groups in close proximity of the venue.

There were many activities for families including henna and face-painting, bouncy castle, penalty shoot-out against local police officers, 5-a-sides & football games, circus tricks and much much more.

Even Desmond the Dragon made an appearance posing for photographs with most of the participants including many Dale fans.

The event was held with RBH and Greater Manchester Police to bring the local community together.

HALF TIME CHALLENGE MATCH – PENNINE v BLUESTAR UNDER 11’s

Pennine Juniors and Bluestar entertained supporters at the last EFL Division One match against Blackpool serving up a decent match during the half time break, we hope both teams will remember their never to be forgotten day at the Crown Oil Arena.

MASCOT PACKAGE

Jack Booth celebrated his tenth birthday by leading out the teams prior to kick off when we played Blackpool.

The package includes:
