Last call for the annual gathering at Spotland of Exiles against Southend on 27thApril. Oli Rathbone’s winner at the Wham should give any waverers an incentive to join the 38 already signed up.
We will have the usual mix with a fantastic buffet, a pitch-side visit, a signed shirt raffle and directors and staff will pop in. David Bottomley promises that members of the 1968/69 squad who are being entertained by the club that day will also make an appearance especially for us. I’m sure a number of fellow pitch invaders from 50 years ago will enjoy that.
Full details will be emailed before the day once I have finalised arrangements with Frances Fielding but we will open at 12:30pm and aim for our buffet lunch at 1.00pm. We hope to continue our amazing run of never having lost an Exiles match.
