Curry Night Returns

The Dale Trust are delighted to announce that in April we will be bringing back Curry On Up The Dale, with all profits going to the 5-a-side Pitch Appeal.

This year, we will be welcoming back former Dale boss Steve Parkin. Parkin will be recounting tales from his days with the Dale and will take part in a Q&A afterwards. He will be joined on the evening by his assistant from Dale Tony Ford MBE.

The event will be held on Thursday 18th April (the night before Good Friday) at Pavilion II – one of the most popular Indian restaurants in the town, and there will be a feast of high quality food for supporters to enjoy on the night.

We have been keen to recruit Steve Parkin for one of Curry Nights for a number of years as we were fortunate to have his support when we launched the Trust back in January 2004.

Previous speakers at the event have included Eddie Gray, Mick Docherty, John Hollins, Dave Sutton, Gareth Griffiths, John Doolan, Alan Reeves and last season’s trio was Steve Whitehall, Mark Stuart & Dave Thompson.

Tickets for the night are priced: Members £22, Non-Members £25. Places can be reserved at the Trust desk from this Saturday’s game against Coventry  City or online by completing the form at the bottom of this page. All profits from this evening will be donated towards the 5-a-side pitch.

In addition, a limited number of corporate booths are available at £100 (4 seats) and £200 (8 seats). nb: Trust discount not applicable on corporate booths.  If you are interested in these, please email the Trust at info@daletrust.co.uk or come to the Trust desk before home games for availability.

The menu on the evening is as follows:

  • Onion Bhaji
  • Seekh Kebab
  • Chicken Tikka

Tickets are limited for the event, and anyone wishing to attend should look to secure their place sooner rather than later. Last year’s event sold out within a fortnight of tickets going on sale, and many supporters missed out.

**Update**

There just nine tickets remaining so we have suspended online sales. These will only be available from the Trust Desk in the Dale Bar before the Coventry game.
