The Dale Supporters Trust are delighted to have been one of the six Trusts/Clubs to be shortlisted in the “Best Club and Supporters Group Relationship” category, at the Football Business Awards ceremony to take place on Thursday 22nd November 2018, and we shall be represented by two our Trust Board members.
This recognition has been achieved as a result of the open and accessible relationship which exists between the Trust and the Club, unlike that which exists with many other Trusts. The ability for open discussion to take place, whether formally at the regular Directors’ meetings, or, vitally, on an informal basis, with the willingness of various Club personnel to meet with the Trust to discuss specific matters as they arise, is the underlying basis for the strong working relationship which exists between us.
Within days of the appointment of the Club’s new CEO, the Trust has already had a meeting with James to introduce ourselves and to express our willingness to be involved in the various aspects of the Club in which it would be felt our support would be an advantage, and he was keen to progress this relationship.
