We’ve not held a Race Night for a number of years, the last time we did it was a great success, so here it is!
We’ve decided to hold the night at Spotland Social club, a place for many Dale fans pre and post match, its local to the ground and ensures we keep close links with local businesses.
This is also the Friday night before our Exiles Day so if you’re planning on coming up for the Exiles Day stay over and have a night out!

The Race Night will consist of eight races each with eight horses. The first seven are normal races where you can buy a horse for the race, you can buy a horse at the Trust Desk pre match, we’ll also have people knocking about in other parts of the ground on match days selling horses, the cost of a horse is £3 and we’ll have great prizes on the night for the winning horse owner!
The last race is an auction race where each horse is sold to the highest bidder on the night, with a large cash prize given to the winning owner of this race.
On top of the above you’ll also be able to bet on the horses!
Minimum bet will be 50p, you’ll get a bet ticket per bet and you’ll use this ticket to collect you winnings (hopefully!).
