Rochdale AFC Football In The Community 2013

The Dale Trust is proud to be supporting Rochdale Football in the Community as our chosen charity this year.

We have already organised a sponsored walk to raise funds for a new van which can support the FITC team in their work throughout the borough, we’ll have details of the van coming soon.

Over 32,000 participants have taken part in Rochdale Football in the Community projects including –

Education Projects
Health Projects
Social Inclusion Projects
Sports Participation Projects

Through working with FITC this season we have found that they do far more than you think, some people think they just provide the Saturday Club or Junior Dale – open for league games, 12noon – 5pm at £9 per child, 5 a side, MacDonald’s dinner and the match, it’s a great offer. The Trust have been working with Football in the Community to promote the Junior Dale Saturday Club we are pleased to that numbers are continuing to rise, we are also pleased to announce that on production of a valid Dale Trust membership card you can get £1 off.

Some thought that FITC just go to schools and provide coaching session to the kids, but through interesting discussions we have found they do far more, so below Keith and his team have kindly provided their community engagement report for 2013, have a read and find more about Football in the Community.
