The Trust are looking to members and supporters to donate football shirts for disabled children in Uganda.
Dale Trust member Helen Whittaker is going to Uganda in the Summer on a charity mission to work with disabled children in a remote rural school.
Helen told us ‘The disabled children are often treated like second class citizens and the charity I am going with are helping to build a school to try to give them an education. The kids love football and know all the major European teams. I am hoping to take some football shirts over for them and I am looking for any unwanted shirts (any team – any size). I already have a couple of Dale shirts and it would be great if I could get some more via supporters or the club – it would be great to see the shirts worn in rural Uganda!’
If you wish to donate a shirt you can drop them off at the Dale Trust desk in the Ratcliffe Bar before Saturdays match with Morecambe.
