The Dale Supporters Trust Player of the Month for September was George Nevett – congratulations George.
Since signing his first professional contract, George has made twelve appearances this season, including six during September, helping Dale to achieve two wins over Barnet and Dorking Wanderers, as well as providing a stunning assist for Kairo Mitchell’s goal against Chesterfield.
He has also represented Wales Under -19 squad earlier this month for the first time. winning his maiden cap in the draw against England.
Voting for the Player of the Month is open to all fans, and from the Trust members who take part in the voting, a draw is made and the winning member for September was Freddie Brockerton- Baker, many Junior Exile members, and one of the family of Trust members from Gosport, Hampshire. Freddie presented George with his award after the game last Saturday against Oldham, and, in return, received a signed copy of the plaque to commemorate the day.
All that’s required to be included in the draw each month is to be a member of the Trust, Adult or Junior, and vote for the eventual winning player. Who knows, you could be the lucky one making the presentation to the Player of the Month on a matchday this season.
