Tyrese Sinclair has been voted as the Dale Trust Supporters’ Player of the Month for August!
Sinclair was presented with his award on Saturday after Dale’s 4-2 win against Barnet.
The 22-year-old scored five goals across August, topping Dale’s top scorer chart for the opening month of the Vanarama National League season.
The forward’s first goal came in Dale’s 3-2 defeat to Woking, with him rounding the ‘keeper before slotting home from a tight angle.
A penalty, followed by a curling effort from the left-hand side against Bromley saw Sinclair take his goal tally to three.
In Dale’s final game in August, the winger grabbed another two goals from the penalty spot in Dale’s 3-1 win over York City.
From all those who voted for Tyrese, the Trust member drawn to present him with his award was Laura Castleton, who, in return received a signed copy of the plaque presented to Tyrese.
All that’s required to be included in the draw each month is to be a member of the Trust, either adult or junior, vote for the winning player, and you could be the lucky one making the presentation in the future.
Congratulations, Tyrese. Well-deserved!
