Jeriel Dorsett has been voted the Player of the Month for March by the fans, and the presentation took place on Saturday after our win against Walsall.
From all the votes cast in favour of Jeriel, the draw of the Trust members voting for him was made and Martyn Slater was chosen to make the award. The picture shows Jeriel receiving his much deserved award from Martyn, who received a framed copy and Jeriel’s top, both signed, to commemorate the event.
Saturday marked the final Player of the Month event for this season, as on the 30th April, after our final home game against Bristol Rovers, the result of the current poll being conducted for the Supporters Player of the Season will be decided, and awarded at the End of Season Awards evening in the Ratcliffe Suite.
However, next season, as always, voting for the Player of the Month is open to all fans, and all that is needed to enter the draw to present the award is, obviously, to vote for the eventual winning player, and, most importantly, be a member of the Trust, remembering to leave your contact details to enable us to contact you at short notice to advise you of your win!!
