Walk to Oldham review

On Saturday, around sixty walkers, made up of both Dale and Oldham supporters, made the journey from Spotland Stadium to Boundary Park ahead of the Oldham v Dale clash.

The weather just about held up, though we did have a rather bizarre moment passing through the subway near Asda where it was dry when we walked in and pouring down when we came out the other side. That aside, it was a very pleasant walk and the refreshment stops were certainly earned.

We used the walk to launch our Crowdfunding campaign to fight the legal action brought by Morton House. If you would like to contribute, you can now do so at upthedalenotforsale.co.uk

Big thank yous must go out to the Flying Horse and the Summit Inn for accomodating our weary walkers, and the Oldham Events Centre for the refreshments upon arrival and inviting us into the Fans’ Bar with the Shezurrection Cocktails available. We would also like to thank Sign and Brand for providing us with the banner.
