There will be a “Rough Sleepers” event at Spotland on Friday 19th November, where people will be sleeping rough inside the ground to raise funds for the Rochdale AFC Community Trust and Helping Homeless Veterans UK.
Over 40 people have already signed up for the event including Dale director and Trust member Richard Knight and if you’d like to join them, please email Their4UFundraising@hotmail.com.
It has been organised by Adam Trennery who started the Rochdale AFC Military Vets Football Team, and will involve people sleeping out inside the ground armed with just a sleeping bag or a quilt from 7pm on the Friday night to 7am on the Saturday morning.
