We have been contacted by a number of Trust members over the weekend following the news that former Chairman Chris Dunphy was interested in a return to the club with calls for an EGM to support his return (https://rochdaleafcnews.com/2021/03/27/chris-dunphy-set-for-rochdale-afc-return/).
The Trust currently has 12,625 shares in the Football Club which equates to around 2.5% of the overall shareholding, and as a members’ organisation, we will always vote in a way that is representative of the views of our membership. As such, we have emailed all Trust members on our mailing list this afternoon asking for their initial thoughts on this and/or the current situation at the club.
