We contacted the club on Thursday evening regarding Chairman Andrew Kilpatrick’s resignation and met with the club on Friday to discuss it.
We have been assured by the club that the resignation is very much for personal reasons. His departure is very amicable and entirely in line with the reasons given, and there has been no falling out or disagreement whatsoever. The statement put out by the club on Thursday afternoon was very much in line with his wishes and he has made it clear to the club that he will continue to be a committed supporter and shareholder of the Football Club.
The Board will be meeting early next week to discuss his successor, and we will be meeting with the club once again next week to discuss this amongst other matters.
