Easyfundraising is exactly what it is – the easiest way of raising funds for the Trust. Since we first partnered up with them, almost £3,000 has been raised for the Trust.
It works like this: every purchase you make online sees the retailer make a donation back to the Trust. It doesn’t cost you a penny more than what you would have been paying in the first place, but we get the benefit. It might only be a few pence here and there but those few pence here and there have led to us approaching £3,000.
All you have to do is register with the Easyfundraising website, with the Dale Trust as your chosen charity, and then visit their website or App.
And the beauty is just how much is covered: food shopping, shopping, booking holidays, getting insurance, mobile phones… if something can be purchased or ordered online, they cover it, and Dale benefit.
If it all sounds a bit complicated, it’s not. It’s just a case of remembering to use the Easyfundaising website or App before looking for anything online, and that’s all you have to do. You can even download a Plug In for your browser which will even act as a reminder. It is literally free money for the Trust.
Throughout 2018-19, every purchase that is made through Easyfundraising will go directly to a project we are working on with the club that we hope to bring you more details of soon. The same time period last year saw £300 raised by 196 members. There is no reason at all why we can’t be talking about raising over £1000 in the same time period this season.
