The Trust committee met on Wednesday evening for their monthly meeting.
The meeting was primarily held to discuss the membership for next season. The new forms have been approved and ordered, as have the new membership cards which will allow us to launch the memberships this weekend. Keep an eye out over the weekend for how you can join the Trust online.
The recent walk was discussed with a number of donations collected from supporters. Some supporters have said that they are still collecting their money in, so the deadline for the free season ticket to the supporter collecting the most has been extended until 31st May. Supporters are reminded that they can transfer their monies electronically if they wish.
The End of Season Awards afternoon was discussed where Joe Rafferty won the award from the Supporters. A sum of almost £1,100 was collected on the night from the raffle and the entrance money. The money will be handed on to Bloodwise – the charity chosen by Joe Thompson.
The Trust survey was discussed that took place throughout April. Full results will be going online on Thursday with the plans in place that we have in response to the views of supporters / members.
Other matters discussed included a contact that the Trust had held with Eden Bearshaw and initial plans in place for five Trust events between August and December of this year. Plans for such events were tentative at this moment, as we wait for the fixture list to come out in June before any confirmation.
