Easy Fundraising

With Christmas round the corner (they’ve got mince pies in the Co-op) we’re looking to bang the drum about Easyfundraising, it is a habit we’d like members to get into, rather than going straight to Amazon, go to the page below and access Amazon from there, the Trust will receive a percentage direct from Amazon, costing you nothing.
We’ve smashed the £1000 barrier and we’ve firmly got our eyes on the £1500 mark now. If you are buying anything online, booking holidays or nights away, taking out any insurance, buying a new mobile, or indeed anything involving money online, then please visit our Easyfundraising link and search from there. As we keep saying, the prices you pay are the same as you would have paid by going to the sites directly, and the retailer will make a donation back to the Trust. It’s a fantastic and easy way to donate money to the Trust.

Former Players Association

Work has started on launching the Rochdale Former Players Association that will take place in 2014.
The Trust has set up a working group in a bid to create the Former Players Association. Membership of the group will be open to anyone who has played a first team game for the club, and the benefits will be update newsletters, an annual FPA meal, a Masters XI plus whatever else the group shows interest in.
A number of former players have already been approached, and the initial feedback would suggest that there is a great deal of interest in this project with several having been signed up already. The focus for now is to contact those players who have retired from the game, rather than having simply moved on to another club.
Membership of the Rochdale FPA is and will continue to be free of charge. If you have contact details for any former players, please email the Trust at rochdalefpa@daletrust.com
If you are in touch with any former players please pass this information on, we are also going to run a competition on twitter, details to be announced.
