Shaun Reid will be the guest of the Dale Trust as part of our matchball sponsorship when we host Bury later this month.
The midfield hardman was something of a Dale stalwart during the 80’s and early 90’s as he chalked up over 300 appearances for the club and was a pivotal member of the 1986-87 side that defied the odds to stay up in that first season of automatic relegation from the Football League.
He will join the Trust for the game against local rivals Bury when the Trust hosts its first of three matchball sponsorships.
A draw will take place next Monday when we select three Trust members who will be invited to join the Trust as part of the matchball sponsorship. They will be invited to bring a guest to the game, be given a ticket for the game, enjoy a meal as part of the pre-match hospitality, with a free programme thrown in for good measure.
To be included in the draw, you must be a Trust member. Over 300 supporters have already joined the Trust for the 2017-18 season, and you can join them. You can join online or in person by visiting the Trust desk before Saturday’s game with Scunthorpe. All new members will be included in the draw.
