The club posted the following statements regarding tomorrows home game and about Saturdays postponement.
Following Saturday’s postponement, we have invited an independent, qualified local referee to inspect the playing surface at the Crown Oil Arena this afternoon.
The pitch has drained well since Saturday night, and with no rain forecast in the coming days, we believe the surface is, and will remain, in a playable condition for tomorrow night’s game against Solihull Moors.
We will communicate the opinion of the local referee to supporters as soon as possible.
We also plan to provide a more detailed update on the underlying issues affecting the drainage of the pitch, and our continued efforts to mitigate them, in due course.
