The first survey of the season to the fanbase to choose their August Player of the Season resulted in an overwhelming result in the choice made. The player chosen was, as you’ve guessed, Emmanuel Dieseruvwe. The presentation took place in the 1907 Lounge after the win against Braintree Town, his two goals scored more than underlining his unbelievable performance this season to date.
Voting is open to all fans, Adults and juniors alike, with those Trust members voting entering a draw to decide who will present the award to the winning player. The lucky member drawn this month was Susan Jenks, one of our many Exile Trust members, from Pontypridd, North West of Cardiff, who, along with her Dad, Ted, has been a member and supporter of the Trust for more years than Susan would admit to.
The photo shows Susan presenting Mani with his award, a signed copy of the plaque she received as a memento of the day.
Remember, if you would like to be the person making the award at a future Player of the Season event – it couldn’t be easier. Just vote for your choice each month.
