550 plus members already and still counting..

We sincerely appreciate the over 550 supporters who have so far signed up for the Trust for the 2025/26 season, even though no official home matches have started in the national league. Your enthusiasm and support mean a lot to us!

Traditionally, membership subscriptions only commence in earnest from the first game. Still, it’s a pleasing endorsement of the programme initiatives we have proposed, along with some which we are just bringing on stream.

It goes without saying that our regular work, representing the members and fans week in, week out, continues; our Trust Desk, traditionally located in the Dale Bar at every home game, will continue. Additionally, we will be regularly joined by Her Game Too and Andymans Club representatives. More details about Andymans club will follow over the next week.

We, as a Trust, look forward to strengthening our connections and supporting our CAB board colleagues as the club progresses under the Ogden family. New developments, such as the refurbishment of the 1907 lounge and its new direction, along with increased fan engagement, bring a more positive atmosphere to the club.

Being part of the Daletrust ensures that the club hears the voices of many through our scheduled and ad hoc meetings. Good working relationships are vital, and we are grateful for the club management team’s openness; although we may have differing views, access to the club team has been crucial to us. It has already facilitated much, and we will continue to build on this to ensure all members can have a meaningful say.

As the membership continues to grow, we will highlight more of our supportive agreements with other groups. The re-emergence of the “Her Game Too” programme, which has produced a national agreement of co-operation between the two groups, has been extremely pleasing.

Our support for grassroots women’s football is gaining momentum daily, with evocative joint fundraising ideas already emerging. Our involvement with fellow supporter groups, particularly DALE 1907, continues to grow. Collaboration and support for each other’s programmes is satisfying, and knowing we are all working to make the club, its supporters and local community a better place brings a real “Feel-good” feeling.

As the season begins, we will see our large overseas contingent come on board, and this season, we intend to bring you some of their stories on how “The Dale” impacts their personal lives.

We will continue to update members via our website and socials daily, and our coach travel, under Emma’s coordination, will continue this season. You can contact Emma at travel@daletrust.co.uk. This is especially useful now as our coach to Brackley Town FC is already on sale, see HERE

Our monthly newsletters, Player of the Month announcements, Junior members draw, and club sponsorships will all begin in two weeks. We are particularly excited about the Junior monthly draw. In addition to the winner helping to present the Player of the Month award and receiving a special certificate, there will be some excellent “Dale Merchandise” up for grabs. We will provide more details about this at the end of the month.

So, a successful start to our season, and following Boreham Wood, we hope for a successful season for the players and the club here at the COA
