Ever wondered what happens behind the mic at the Crown Oil Arena?

If you’ve visited the COA in recent years, you’re likely familiar with “The Dockerty Twang.” You might have heard it through the sound system during the match or at the after-match hospitality. Perhaps you’ve heard it while comparing club events or enjoying the incredible skills of hosting and auctioneering at the Trust’s famous Curry Night. No matter the occasion, the voice of “The Doc” always makes it special.

Besides being coupled with the above, David also hosts his regular show on Bolton FM, but more of that later.
