Following the Trust’s successful sponsorship this season of the “Her Game Too” initiative at Rochdale (HERE), and under the guardianship of HGT Ambassadors Charlotte Cromarty and Leanne Connely, a full reset and a clearer vision for the future emerged.
From this new beginning, they recruited new advocates to support the project: Izzabell Whitely, Nikkie Garner, and Fiona Murray. You can read about that HERE.
As the project has developed and supported by the Trust, they have been able to reach out to other Her Game Too organisations at the grounds we visit. This, led by Advocate Nikki, has started a real networking web for the team, which has built upon the official recognition given by Her Game Too organisation that they and the Trust had formed an official working partnership, HERE
But Change was soon to be looming over the horizon!
With so much achieved and the agenda set, change was needed because both Charlotte and Leanne, due to family and personal pressures, had to step back from the day-to-day activities required of them as Ambassadors.
However, Charlotte and Leanne had recruited wisely, and after a team restructure, approved nationally by HGT, the Rochdale Her Game Too team is delighted to announce that our new Co-Ambassadors will be Isabelle Whiteley and Fiona Murray.
They will be supported by Nikki Garner and Leanne Connelly, who, while stepping back from her ambassador role, has agreed to take on the role of Advocate.
So, a change it may be, but it’s a change which will continue HGT development within the club and the Dale Trust (more on that soon)
