The pitch covers are down ahead of tomorrow’s evening 5.30pm kick-off, which will be in front of the DAZN cameras, so we want this to go really well and give the best pitch possible for the team to play on.
With a heavy rain forecast overnight (the Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning) and into tomorrow, the covers will remain down until 1 pm, at which point our Cover Squad volunteers will begin to remove them.
If you are able and willing to help, please report to the Main Reception at 12:45 p.m. tomorrow.
The more help we receive, the quicker the job will be, and the better the covers can be stored. Any residual water can then be removed, if needed, by the blotter.
