Voting among Trust members to approve the purchase of several pitch blotters—first introduced here—to aid in the removal of standing water on the rain covers before their removal closed on Friday at 5 PM. The results showed overwhelming support for the project, with a total of 197 votes cast. Of those, 98.48% (194 votes) were in favour, while 1.52% (3 votes) were against.

We shall advise the Club that the Trust has agreed to sponsor the project, the result of which, we are confident, will significantly assist the ground staff in protecting the pitch to enable on-the-pitch performance during the season to be provided with the best possible conditions to succeed.”
