Following on from the recent open trial for our 2025/26 Youth Team at Platt Lane in April, we are again offering the opportunity for interested players to showcase their abilities.

Members of the 2025/26 Youth Team will combine daily technical, tactical, and physical training with a BTEC Sport qualification delivered by industry leaders VLUK.

The full-time programme will be hosted at Heywood Sports Village, with fixtures typically being played every Wednesday in the National League U19 Alliance, amongst other leagues. The team will also compete in other prestigious competitions, such as the FA Youth Cup.

The next trial session will take place at the Crown Oil Arena on Thursday 29th May. A reminder that the event is open to those who are currently in Year 11 and sitting their GCSE’s this summer.
