Let’s go back to the 26th may 2008 Darlington at home. Clark Keltie gave the Quakers a 1-0 (agg 3-1) lead from the spot after Rene Howe impeded Jason Kennedy. Rochdale levelled when Chris Dagnall poked in Adam Rundle’s cross before David Perkins struck from 25 yards to send the play-off into extra-time.
Perkins was later sent off for dissent but Dale won the tie when Kennedy’s penalty was saved by keeper Tommy Lee. Sending Dale to later face Stockport county at Wembley.
Tomorrow is the biggest game since 2008 and I personally cannot wait the occasion I’m hoping we can in the stand as early as possible and get the atmosphere booming for Jim and the boys in all of the stands
