The funeral of Dale legend Joe Thompson takes place on Monday, 12th May.
The service will begin at 11 a.m. at St Mark’s Church in Worsley (M28 2WH).
It will be an open funeral, with anyone who has been impacted by Joe invited to attend. Members of Rochdale AFC first team, as well as club Directors, will be in attendance to pay their respects.
Joe’s family have kindly asked attendees to wear colourful clothing and to donate to one of Joe’s GoFundMe pages, instead of bringing flowers, given the large number of people expected.
Please also kindly respect that the wake is invite-only for family and close friends.
There will be no parking available at the church, so using public transport is highly recommended.
