On Tuesday evening, the Ogden Family hosted a special evening of celebration at Rochdale Town Hall.
Representatives of the Dale Trust board were delighted to be invited by the Odgen family to this special event. It gave the opportunity to not only appreciate and celebrate the rich potential that Rochdale can offer, but also to be involved in a broad and diverse range of discussions and conversations with others from across the borough.
More than 200 wonderful members of the Rochdale community came together for a fantastic event that celebrated the amazing work happening in the Borough! It was also a great opportunity to build new partnerships and set in motion the exciting actions that will shape Rochdale’s future for generations to come.
Sir Peter and Lady Ogden joined by their three children, along with Rochdale AFC majority shareholders Cameron, Tiffany, and Edward, were all present in the Town Hall’s stunning Great Hall. Everyone from Rochdale Council and community leaders throughout the Borough enjoyed a delightful drinks reception and dinner, featuring performances from local artists and inspiring speeches from key figures, including the Leader of Rochdale Council and our Co-Chair Cameron Ogden.
They were joined by fellow Directors and senior club staff, along with Head Coach Jimmy McNulty, captain Ethan Ebanks-Landell, and the legendary Ian Henderson. The event also featured a heartwarming new short film, crafted by AML Group and the award-winning production company The Attic, showcasing the inspiring ambitions of the Ogden Family throughout the Football Club, Rochdale AFC Community Trust, and the newly formed Dale Futures.

Was the evening successful?
In conversation with our friends Matt Devine and Lee Percy from DALE 1907, it certainly seemed so if the earnest conversations before dinner were anything to go by.
From the Trust’s perspective, it was an excellent evening. We had the opportunity to meet old friends, connect with new colleagues, and forge important links that will help the Trust advance its agenda for the upcoming season. Although still in their infancy, these new partnerships will strengthen our ties within the community.
This year, we will focus on promoting the women’s game at all levels and encouraging parental involvement not only with the Trust but also in initiatives we hope to announce, all designed to assist our local women’s teams. Additionally, we are excited to announce a new supportive partnership with “Her Game Too,” which aligns with our mission of diversity and inclusiveness. We believe this partnership will bring a fresh dynamic to our activities, complementing the Ogden Family’s community initiative announced this evening.
To conclude this report, the Trust expresses its gratitude for the opportunity to join the new partnership initiated today by Cameron Ogden and the Ogden family. We share the belief that our actions today will impact future generations, and it is essential to ensure that this impact is positive. Participating in the “For Generations to Come” initiative is crucial!
