Dale fans will enter the world of tegestology this season thanks to the Trust.
A Tegestologist is someone who collects beer mats, and for this season, the Trust are launching their very own beer mat. Beer mats have been a staple feature in pubs now for almost 100 years, but this will be the first time that one will promote the Dale.
You can see the Trust Beer Mats for the first time when the Trust host their first event of the 2017-18 season at the Flying Horse pub on Wednesday 28th June. A Quiz Night is being hosted, with Dale’s new matchday announcer Eden Bearshaw firing out the questions. It’s free to take part, and food will be provided. More details are available here.
A Trust spokesman said: “The beer mats look fantastic and will be the perfect accompaniment to that pre-match pint, or as you dissect the game long into the night over a drink or two.”
We’re hoping that the beer mats will be available in a number of establishments when the season starts.
