The first of the three Match Ball Sponsorships to be held by the Supporters Trust this season was the Bury game when Trust members were drawn to take part in the event. The day consisted of a pre-match meal in the Howarth Lounge, programmes, match tickets, and, after the game, the post match presentations in the Lounge, including the Man of the Match, and the presentation of a plaque to the group in recognition of the Sponsorship.
The lucky members drawn to attend were Mike Rowley, accompanied by his wife, Denise, Peter Brown with guest, Peter Taylor and his son Liam, a Junior Trust member. Liam received the plaque on behalf of the group, which was signed by the players in the lounge. Everyone enjoyed the day, especially the result, the third season that the Trust have sponsored the Bury game, with a 100% winning record!!
The remaining two games to be sponsored by the Trust are Scunthorpe on Saturday 10th December, and Sheffield United on Saturday 4th March.
