Dale in the Community Update

Here’s the latest from Keith and the Team.

Welcome everybody tonight, especially you away supporters who have made the long trip from the South East Coast and hopefully you won’t be too upset on the way home after the result.

TODAY’S MASCOTmascot

Our mascot tonight is Louis Russell, aged eight from Rochdale.

Louis has been a season ticket holder at Dale for the past two seasons and also likes going to away matches.

As well as playing football Louis also plays cricket for Littleborough under 9’s.

Louis’ favourite Dale player is Ian Henderson.

EASTER FOOTBALL/MULTI SPORT COURSESsoccer factory easter

As normal, we were inundated with boys and girls over the Easter holidays on our soccer/multi sport coaching courses.

This year we put on a girls only course at the Soccer Factory with 26 youngsters of differing abilities taking part bringing the total numbers to over 175 during the 2 weeks.

Everyone received goodies from the Club plus tickets to watch Dale play in the future, also awards were handed out to some lucky or should I say, talented players.

On our behalf, we were delighted to see so many children through out the holidays and no matter if working with beginners or talented players, we expect that they will all have gone home contented with their time at Rochdale AFCsoccer factory easter2

Thanks go to Dale players for taking time out of their busy training schedules before the Doncaster Rovers and Peterborough United matches to meet attenders ensuring they had something to talk about on the way home with parents.
