A story of frontiersmen on a footballing expedition and their fight for survival after being mauled by the lions of Millwall and left for dead by those that took the tram and the 409 bus. They must deal with the trek up Drake Street, the bandits from Kirkholt and the wild animals of Royton!
On Saturday 19th March The Trust in partnership with Dale in the Community are taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for our chosen charity Rochdale Moorlands Childrens Home, we are looking for both willing participants and sponsors for the event.
Sponsorship forms will be available at the Trust desk before Saturdays game with final details to be confirmed.

Sat. 19th March
10.30 am Meet outside main entrance at Spotland
11.00 am Base camp @ The Flying Horse
12.30 pm Oxygen & Kendal mint cake @ Summit / Thornham
1.15 pm The Railway – Royton
2.00 pm Plaudits & accolades at Boundary Park
4.45 pm Go home with 3 points and a warm feeling of having done something good for those less fortunate than ourselves.
