Trust Newsletter 9th June

All Trust members were emailed the following newsletter on Sunday.

Committee Meeting
The Trust Committee met during the week to further plans for next season. Amongst the projects that were discussed were the Junior Dale relaunch for 2013-14, the Rochdale FPA, membership for 2013-14, plans for a video screen at Spotland, and plans to strengthen the bond between the club and the next generation of supporters. A full report of the meeting went straight on to the Trust website on Wednesday evening as we endeavour to make our members fully up to date with the work carried out by the Trust.

Rochdale FPA
We made the first steps this week in what will become one of our biggest projects for 2013-14 in the form of the Rochdale Former Players Association. We’ve started contacting some of our heroes from yesteryear and feedback so far has been very encouraging. We have already had the likes of Lyndon Simmonds and Shaun Reid amongst those that have joined up. If you are in contact with any former Dale players, please ask them to email rochdalefpa@daletrust.com

Membership 2013-14
We’re getting closer to the stage where we’ll be sending out renewal forms for Trust membership Our new look leaflet for 2013-14 is at the printers and the membership cards are ready, so you should receive the letter in the next couple of weeks. Membership has been retained at £10 for adults and exiles, and free for under sixteens. Those people who have purchased a season ticket during the early bird period will find a voucher entitling them to £5 off Trust membership. Supporters will be able to join online, via post or at the pre-season friendlies.

Easyfundraising
We know we bang the easyfundraising drum every week in these newsletters but given that during the week, we received two cheques from them totalling £117 you can understand our enthusiasm for them. We are up to 106 registered users with them now, with a grand total of £917.47 raised by supporters simply through online purchases. Our aim is to make it £2000 by the end of 2013. Contacting the Trust
If you wish to speak to the Trust with regards to any matter, then please email the Trust at mailbox@daletrust.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
