Trust Members Newsletter 24th March

Dale in Exile Day
This Friday (and not some time in April as I suggested in last week’s email) sees the annual Dale in Exile day, with currently 27 Trust members coming from all over the UK to the Dale v Aldershot fixture. We’ve attached a map to show you some of the hometowns of the Trust members who will be in attendance. The exiled supporters will be match sponsors for this match. For those that don’t know, there are close to a hundred members of the Trust under the umbrella of Dale in Exile (the furthest we reckon lives 10,527 miles from Spotland), and the last five years has seen then the Dale In Exile day. We’ll have a full report on the Exile Day on our website next week.Dale in Exile
Player of the Month
We’ll be opening up our Player of the Month poll following the Aldershot game on Friday. Voting is open to all supporters, but one Trust member will be drawn at random from the entries and will get to make the presentation to the winning player. Not only that, they will be given the winning player’s match worn shirt. Check out our website to cast your vote.
Player of the Season Awards Evening
Full details of the Player of the Season evening and how you can secure your ticket for the event will be released on Wednesday, with the information being released on the Trust website, and the other Dale websites.
Dale Bar discounts
All Trust members are reminded that on production of their membership card, they can enjoy 50p off a pint off lager or bitter in the Dale Bar on matchdays before 2pm. Trust members are also entitled to discounts on room hire at the venue as well should you wish to host your function there. For more details, visit http://www.ratcliffebars.co.uk/
Twitter Competition
Don’t forget that if you are a member of the Twitterati, you can take part in our attendance competition where all you have to do is tweet your guess at what the attendance will be in each match. If you don’t already follow us on Twitter, you can do so here.
