Ashley Grimes was the winner of the Dale Trust Player of the Month for December after a successful month in which he scored five goals for the club.
Grimes was the clear winner of the poll, with over 40% of all of the votes that were cast by Dale supporters. His five goals consisted of two against Aldershot, two against Cheltenham and one in the marvellous win at Bradford, and every one of them was top quality.
Trust member Matt Greenhalgh was drawn at random from all of the votes, and he made the award to Ashley Grimes after the AFC Wimbledon game at the weekend. As part of doing so, he was given Ashley’s shirt and a framed copy of the certificate.
